While there are many exquisite pieces of art, I can deduce that this creation heavily negates the senses with dreaming and destiny, I find this exquisite piece in perfect symmetry with this composition. Ms. Goodman captures a deeply personal and powerful message within all of us. From every contour and shape of the woman, to every abstract and melted meaning of importance, the theme, albeit, in its analytical sphere of resonance, personifies the viewer within the whole image itself; that is to say, that it can be a vision of yourself and your destiny, or dream, if it is relevant enough.
Imagery, fantasy, imagination, oracles, and even, perhaps, prophecies are contained in this painting. It is entirely in the viewers’ experience but mystically demonstrated by the artist. I believe that is the primary purpose and it has worked! Consider the woman’s pose; her delicate and sensual features curve upon one another; she is comfortable, despite the ensuing uncertainty that shades her body into representing the unknown that awaits all of us: destiny. While fear appears to be absent for a moment, it enables the viewer to breathe a deep sigh of relief; the future is not being haunted. It is being pursued one moment at a time. We are permitted to dream and think, dream and think carefully about what awaits us and who should be invited in to consume our personal indulgences.
Ms. Goodman is not in short supply of detail. Each abstract and dreamy image is a piece of the future holding hands with a past moment. It is awaiting validation from the soul as well; we are permitted by the artist to see the complexities and chemistry of the woman’s instinct and how she is processing each precious moment of her time in the past as well yet to come. It is the essence of time preserved in an icy dream, cool to the touch, but heated by discernment and uncertainty. It is completely natural and entering the union of consuming personal destiny.
Shatters and echoes of the past annunciate the time of the moment. It is time to capture your purpose and pursue destiny; whether one finds the moment of the struggle to be unique, or finds that it is impossible not to stumble, it is ready and willing to be taken upon the person who is willing to be audacious or dismayed; the theme that is presented is an inescapable influence that every human is compelled to pursue. The color of the work, a deep and dreamy blue also regales us with hints of magic and reality; it is quite convincing that the viewer holds in each eye a vast and endless scan of sculpted horizons and placated acts of importance in one’s own energy and performance in the presence of life itself. It is worth pursuing, it is worth not knowing, and it is worth capturing the soul and body into a fitting sequence of manifested providence, regardless of the religious convictions of the artist or viewer. This image produces enough intensity and emotion for both to conclude their own achievements and turbulent misfortunes. It is life in perfect narration and form.
