While this is clearly an EXTREME LEFTIST production, it does contain some variable insight into the historical narrative of how the Black Panther Party was formed, instituted, and has influenced a SMALL minority of the black race here in America. Why do I say this? You simply cannot have a nation within a nation without depending on that NATION with which you created in that NATION; it never works. I do not see a positivity of moving-forward that the Black Panthers have created for blacks anymore than BLACK LIVES MATTER has. They both reap benefits from wealthy white donors that do not get distributed to any black person who has suffered alleged injustice. Even Malcom X himself had fully acknowledged before his death that whites were not the supreme problem that black people in America were up against. At any rate, this production is informative and contains a plethora of interviews from important people within the party. It is their message by which the means they have chosen for distribution that I question entirely. The result of their methodology is too twisted and deceptive to perform its intended purpose.
